Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant with experience in public practice to join their team in Surrey Hills, Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accounting professional to work with a wide range of clients in a supportive and professional environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have 1–2+ years of experience in an accounting firm
- Must be CA or CPA qualified
- Experience in preparing financial accounts and income tax returns for SMSFs, trusts, companies, partnerships, and individuals
- Experience in preparing FBT, IAS, and BAS returns, as well as common reporting requirements for small to medium entities
- Experience with and understanding of accounting software and systems and development of management reports
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial accounts and tax returns for SMSFs, trusts, companies, partnerships, and individuals
- Preparation of BAS and IAS returns
- Construction and maintaining workpapers
- Develop and manage client relationships
- Contribute to the supervision and development of graduate and junior accountants
- Participation in practice professional development sessions
