Are you someone who enjoys caring for the elderly?  Are you interested in giving our elderly the support to venture out to do things they love everyday?  We all know someone who is lonely and here is your chance to help them to have something to look forward to!

In this position you will be pivotal in assisting day programs to run for the elderly.  Along with the Group Supervisor you will facilitate events including shopping tours, exercise groups, entertainment days, games events and cultural events.  Most activities are external ones which will require you to escort the participants from and to the planned day.  The ratios are 1:5 and you will get the opportunity to provide a full life for the participants.  This is a government funded initiative and is having huge success.

What you need

• A current full drivers licence
• A relevant diploma qualification e.g Cert 3 or 4 in Aged Care/Disability, Leisure and lifestyle, Exercise or Nursing
• 3 COVID vaccinations and flu vaccination
• A national police clearance
