Our client, a dedicated and growing NDIS provider, is seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to take ownership of all finance-related functions, ensure compliance, and deliver strategic financial insights. Supporting a team of around 70 staff, this role plays a pivotal part in maintaining smooth and compliant financial processes within a dynamic care environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with NDIS knowledge who is looking for a structured yet flexible part-time position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions, including BAS preparation and ATO portal submissions
- Complete financial analysis and modelling to support decision-making
- Oversee lease administration and related financial obligations
- Review and sign off payroll and payroll exceptions
- Prepare monthly financial reports for the CEO and Board
- Provide financial advice to support organisational strategy and sustainability
Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience in accounting/bookkeeping roles with full-function finance responsibilities
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to model financial outcomes
- Experience within the Not-for-Profit sector and knowledge of SCHADS Award highly regarded
- Familiarity with lease management processes desirable
- Strong working knowledge of MYOB
