This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper seeking a flexible, part-time role within a professional yet personable environment.
The Opportunity
This role has been established to provide dedicated bookkeeping support across a complex structure of entities and investment holdings. Working closely with the principals and external accountants, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial processing and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance across all records.
The position requires two full days per week on-site (Middle Park), with flexibility around how those days are structured. Ideally these 2 days will be worked consecutively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping across 14–15 entities
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Process and reconcile investment statements
- Prepare and post journals, including investment-related entries
- Ensure all transactions are supported by appropriate documentation and attachments
- BAS Lodgement
- Manage a small monthly payroll via Xero
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Liaise and build strong working relationships with external accountants
About You
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a multi-entity or family office structure
- Strong reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
- Experience handling investment statements and related journals highly regarded
- Proficient in Xero, including payroll processing
- Organised, discreet and able to work autonomously
- Professional communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with accountants and advisors
- Comfortable working in an on-site, private office environment
