KLC Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and highly regarded financial planning firm to recruit a Client Services Officer to join their growing team in Geelong.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced client service professional or recent finance/financial planning graduate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients.

In this role you will working closely with Advisers, Paraplanners and the broader administration team, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless client experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to advisers and paraplanners
  • Manage client records, compliance documentation and workflows
  • Assist with preparation and implementation of advice documents
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, handling incoming calls and enquiries
  • Support reception duties including phone management and front-of-house coordination
  • Liaise with internal teams and external providers
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks

Skills and Abilities 

  • Previous experience in banking or financial services (financial planning highly regarded)
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proactive, organised and solutions-focused
  • Confident supporting phones and working within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Xplan or PRODA highly regarded)
