Our client, a Community Services organisation working to support and advocate for the rights and needs of families, young people and children, is looking for a Marketing Officer to join their team. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering marketing initiatives, member engagement strategies, and events that support the organisation’s strategic goals. This role plays a key part in building brand awareness, strengthening membership and stakeholder relationships and enhancing the member and client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Manage digital platforms and content creation, including website updates, social media, newsletters, and marketing collateral aligned with brand identity and values.
  • Drive targeted campaigns and stakeholder engagement, collaborating internally and externally to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality experiences.
  • Oversee membership management and growth, maintaining accurate databases, developing value propositions, and implementing strategies to recruit and retain members.
  • Analyse and report on marketing and membership metrics, providing insights to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate end-to-end events and networking activities, including promotion, sponsorship, logistics, and post-event evaluation to support engagement and revenue objectives.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/and or equivalent experience in Marketing/ Communications or another related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing systems, social media scheduling tools, and website CMS.
  • Ability to analyse marketing performance data, generate reports, and apply insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship and donor engagement strategies, particularly in a not-for-profit context.
  • Experience in events management and managing membership in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.
  • Current WWCC and National Police Check
