Our client, a well-established aged care facility in Keilor Downs, is currently seeking an experienced PCA to join their team. The facility is well-maintained with a chapel, courtyard, conservatory, and even chickens that the residents adore. This is a casual role offering an opportunity to work in a supportive, community-focused environment where you'll directly impact the lives of the residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Showering the residents, dressing, grooming, assisted care, domestic assistance, and guiding residents to their activities and mealtimes.
- Provide personal care needs and services as per the residents' individual care needs and care plans.
- Provide person-centred care to residents in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Skills and Abilities:
- Completed Cert III or IV in Individual Support or Aged Care
- 2+ years experience in an Aged Care facility
- Triple vaccinated to COVID-19 and has the most recent Influenza vaccination
