Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive podiatry assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment plans to support foot health, mobility, comfort and independence.
- Provide routine and complex podiatry services, including diabetic foot assessments, nail care, wound management, gait analysis and preventative foot care.
- Identify, assess and manage lower limb and foot conditions while implementing strategies to reduce falls risk and improve overall wellbeing.
- Collaborate with clients, families, aged care staff, GPs and the wider Allied Health team to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to high standards of clinical governance, quality improvement and service delivery
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent qualification).
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.
- Previous experience in Residential Aged Care and/or community health settings is highly regarded.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning and problem-solving skills.
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a car and willingness to travel throughout the region.
- Passion for delivering person-centred care and improving outcomes for older Australians.
