KLC Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a values-driven care provider to recruit an experienced SIL House Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll directly impact the lives of people living with disability, supporting them to live empowered and independent lives.
You’ll oversee multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes based in the North-West of Melbourne, leading teams and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care aligned with NDIS standards.
Ideally the successful candidate will be able to work over the weekends, however Monday-Friday is also available for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple SIL homes
- Lead, mentor and develop Support Workers to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure services are delivered in line with NDIS Practice Standards
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
- Monitor budgets, service delivery, and participant outcomes
- Manage compliance, audits, and documentation requirements
- Coordinate onboarding of new participants into services
- Handle incident management, risk, and WHS responsibilities
- Provide guidance on complex care matters and team performance
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in SIL or disability services leadership
- Strong understanding of NDIS frameworks and standards
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience managing participant funding and service delivery
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in disability, community services, or similar
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- Full working rights in Australia
