KLC Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a respected, values-led not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Business & Service Manager. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of programs, services, and business support functions, ensuring high-quality outcomes for all clients and fostering a positive workplace culture. This newly created role is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys implementing strategic oversight with day today operational management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of all programs and services
- Ensure service delivery is evidence-informed, outcome-focused and aligned to strategic priorities
- Provide strong, supportive leadership to service delivery and operational staff
- Foster a positive, inclusive and values-based organisational culture
- Oversee day-to-day business operations including office management, IT and purchasing
- Work collaboratively with the CEO to implement the Strategic Plan and Operational Plan
- Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures and systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and contractual obligations
- Oversee risk management related to service delivery
Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in operations, service delivery or program management
- Strong leadership capability with experience supporting multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound understanding of quality, compliance and risk frameworks
- A collaborative, solutions-focused and values-driven leadership style
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Flexibility to work occasional out-of-hours events
- Tertiary qualifications in Management, Community Development, Health or a related field
- Understanding of the not-for-profit policy and funding environment
