Senior Accountant

As the Senior Accountant at a boutique accounting practice, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with our finance team to manage a portfolio of clients, perform client research and analysis, whilst mentoring junior accountants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain client relationships and work to KPI's
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff

Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounting practice with CA or CPA qualification
• Experience with APS preferred but not essential
• XERO, MYOB and CAS360 knowledge is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
